Doggy Book Reviews

On occasion we are approached by publishers to give a review of a new doggy book that's being launched. In addition, we do tend to be given the odd book from friends and family who know Mum is dog-mad and also a book worm - see our thoughts on these publications...

One Dog at a Time by Pen Farthing : A wonderful true story of the Royal Marine out in Afghanistan who not only gives us a glimpse of what it's like for our boys fighting the Taliban, but who also tells the story of how he got caught up with the local dogs. A Dogs Life by Martin Clunes: Being of an age that remembers Men Behaving Badly fondly - Mum has always been a bit of a 'Clunesy' fan - however, we have tried very hard not to let that influence our opinion about his book. We also watched the recent television programme A Man and His Dogs which we all enjoyed - I particularly liked the howling wolves, and promptly joined in with the singing.
