Auntie Katy and Uncle John came to stay and we went on a massive walk, which I must say did quite wear us out. Having said that we are definitely getting fitter as Aunty Katy didn't get a groin strain this time - she normally does and then needs carrying the rest of the way - big wuss!

So far this month Dad has proved to be a hero and I have proved to be a genius - not bad seeing as it's only the first week!
Dad saved a golden retriever from certain squishing after seeing it alone on the railway line. Apparently its Dad had taken it jogging and not noticed it had disappeared, bet his Mum nearly killed the Dad for losing him!! Anyway Dad rang the number on his collar and returned him safely to his adoring Mum, so tradgedy averted and Dad a hero.
Me - well I have figured out how to put the window down in the back of the car. The first time I did it Mum just thought she'd pressed the wrong button, but its happened three times now - and today it was witnessed by Auntie Jessie too - so I am a confirmed genius. I know that if I push the button the window comes down and I can stick my head out. I only seem to remember to do this when we are going down the lane to Toadsmoor but Mum still thinks it's pretty impressive. |
